The Atropa Skirt - winter fabric
Imagine the the icy kiss of thee wind on your cheeks and the sound of icy snow crystals crashing under your boots as you walk the winter forest. White and heavy silence accompanies you on your way through the frozen nature.
Do you want to be elegantly and feminine dressed, even if you enjoy the outside in the middle of the winter - but without literally freezing your butt off? We got your solution.
The design follows the pattern of an Edwardian corset skirt.
This version of Atropa is unlined and closed with a zipper at the back.
The average length comes about sixty five centimetre, if you prefer it shorter or longer, just leave a note!
To make this skirt extraordinary, all outer seams are carefully sewed by hand and are therefor barely visible.
The high waisted skirt is made of a heavy weight wool-cashmere mix, one that is usually used for coats - perfectly suitable for the frosty days of winter.
The skirt is usually made according to our sizing information chart, but it can be mad to measure - this skirt will then be adapted to your personal measurements (we know about the struggle with pencil skirts).
Wool/cashmere is a strong, sturdy fabric - you will have years of joy with it if you treat it nicely. Best way to care for your clothing is washing as little as possible. Just clean with a brush and hang regularly to air - outside during the night if possible. Remove stains carefully with a wet cloth. If you need to wash it, we highly recommend to wash the cloth only by hand, don’t wring. Dry on a hanger. Iron carefully by using as little heat as possible, there will be barely any ironing needed! Take care that if you have a ‚hard’ water or water with lots of additives to use the right - and the right amount - of detergent.
